Are Saw Palmete products suitable for any hair type or coloured hair?
Yes, our products will deliver benefits to any hair type including coloured hair.
Do I just need to use the products once to see a benefit?
You may see results as early as 3 months but effects will fade if product use is discontinued. We recommend continued use to maintain healthy hair.
Are your products tested on animals?
No none of our products are tested on animals.
Are your products safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Please consult with your doctor before using our products if you are pregnant, trying to conceive or breastfeeding. Our ingredients are listed on the product packaging and our website.
Why does your shampoo contain ALS? I thought ALS was bad?
ALS or Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate is a surfactant and is fantastic at mopping up grease and dirt. It removes the dirty hair oil that builds up over the course of the day and leaves your scalp clean and healthy. In order to clean a shampoo must contain a surfactant. ALS is a gentler surfactant suitable for more delicate skin types. However there are always those whom are an exception. Recently, you may have noticed companies declaring their products ‘sulfate free’ or ‘ALS free’ which gives the impression that ALS is bad for you. This is not the case. Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) is however a harsher surfactant and is more likely to cause irritation on sensitive skin types. We have not included SLS in our products.
Does it colour or effect grey hair?
Saw Palmete products should not cause any discolouration to your hair or cause any premature graying.
What if the products are not available in my country?
If you are currently unable to purchase Saw Palmete products in your country, please contact us via email and we will be happy to arrange an online purchase for you.
If the products are herbal, can you ingest them?
No, definitely not. Just because any product is herbal does not mean it is suitable for internal ingestion. These are Shampoo’s and Conditioners and contain surfactants and as such are suitable for topical use only.
Will these products cause hair growth in other parts of my body?
No, Saw Palmete products are formulated specifically for head hair and will not cause body hair to grow.
Can you deliver to a PO Box?
Yes, as we use NZ Post to deliver our goods, we are able to deliver to your Post Office Box in New Zealand. However this may not be the case in every country.
Can I get Saturday delivery service?
No, sorry we do not have a Saturday delivery service available.
Can I pick my order up from your warehouse?
No, unfortunately we only offer a delivery service. However if you prefer to hold the item in your hand before purchasing or discuss it with a sales assistant, then we recommend you have a look at our stockist page and find a stockist in your neighbourhood.
Do you offer Free Shipping?
Yes, we offer free shipping in New Zealand on all orders. Unfortunately at this time we are unable to offer the same service to our International customers.
